Church Slough Spring Migration

Join Jake Bramante for a field trip to view returning waterfowl at Church Slough in the Lower Valley area and in Somers area wetlands, time permitting.

Mid to late March is the prime time to see large flocks of incoming migrants, including seasonal specialties such as Tundra Swans, Greater Scaup, and Eurasian Wigeon. If the conditions are right, it is possible to see thousands of waterfowl of 15-20 species.
