Early Spring Waterfowl in Lower Valley

Join Denny Olson to view returning waterfowl in the Lower Valley which is a natural wonder in the spring
waterfowl migration. We’ll visit Church Slough, which packs in a great diversity of ducks, geese, swans,
eagles and other waterfowl just after ice-out. Denny will teach ID in the typical ‘poor light at distance’
spring conditions using “Where’ the white?” flash cards. The trip will also visit the new Reed’s Slough
viewing area and a surprise private-land spot on Fennon Slough.

access. Please note we will carpool from the Reed’s Slough viewing area to the limited access private
spot.
