FUR AND FEATHERS, TRACKING AND BIRDING THE SWAN RIVER REFUGE WITH DIANE BOYD

Join Wildlife Biologist Diane Boyd  and Flathead Audubon on Saturday, February 23, 2019  for a day of adventure, on skis or snowshoes, in the Swan Refuge winter wonderland. The group will meet at 9:30am in Kalispell or 10am in Bigfork. Diane’s experienced tracking skills will bring alive the stories written in the snow  of otters, raptors, weasels, coyotes and other refuge residents. Be prepared for winter conditions. The field trip will cover anywhere from 1-5 miles of snow covered landscape and approximately 3- 4 hours on the refuge depending on conditions.
