Sandhill Crane Viewing at West Valley

Join Darcy Thomas on Thursday, October 2 to view Sandhill Cranes as they stage in the West Valley on their fall migration. See these magnificent birds as they fly in from their daily feeding in the surrounding fields to roost overnight in pothole wetland ponds around sunset. Cranes have been arriving here by the hundreds each year as a fueling stopover, and
they have an amazing array of body language.
