Join FAS on Wednesday, March 3 from 11:00AM-1:00PM and Saturday March 6 from 1:00PM – 3:00PM. We will take a winter trek along the Flathead River near the Steel Bridge and are likely to see Bald Eagles, Canada Geese, Ring-billed Gulls, woodpeckers, flickers, Blue Jays, waxwings, and other small passerines. We might see a Belted Kingfisher, Merlin, Mergansers and a Townsend’s Solitaire. Dress warmly for this walk of up to 2.25 miles. Wear winter boots and be prepared to snowshoe if the snow is deep.
