- Rod reviewed the current financial report, which was passed and approved by the Board.
- FAS received the Montana Audubon Wildlife Fund Grant. These funds will be used for the Hawk Watch.
- Jessie Walthers, Flathead Conservation District, will provide two opportunities for urban birding with help from FAS.
- Jess continues to connect with hundreds of students and to establish new relationships with additional organizations involved in conservation education.
- New hats, mugs, and notecards will be available at upcoming meetings.
- The Pileated Post is grateful to those birders who contributed their time and talent to writing “Bird of the Month” articles this year: Darcy Thomas, Beth Gardner, and Linda Hunt. The nine articles gave readers in-depth looks at backyard favorites and more uncommon species.
