presented by Joshua Covill

From lush lowland rainforests to high misty mountains, Costa Rica is home to over 800 bird species, making it a birder’s paradise! Josh Covill’s presentation will take us through what birding in Costa Rica is like, touching on the amazing biodiversity, where to go, what to look for, and how to plan your own visit.

The hybrid meetings seem to be working well, so we’re going to stick with the mixed method for our October 10th Meeting. For those coming to the meeting, we’ll meet in Room 26 of the Gateway Mall (United Way building) at 7pm. This room is on the east side of the building along Glenwood Rd in Kalispell. Look for our banner hanging outside. Masks are optional and we’ll continue to encourage distancing for seating.

The virtual attendance will be via the online Zoom platform on October 10th, at 7pm Mountain Time (you can hop on at 6:45pm to chat with fellow FAS members). Check your October Pileated Post for the link or email us at info@flatheadaudubon.org requesting the link with instructions to connect.
