May 20: A good day for birds and butterflies in Glacier National Park with Steve Gnaidek and Kathy Ross.  Birders local and from around the country joined in this field trip, exploring favorite birding haunts in the park. Warblers abounded, as mating Rufous hummingbirds delighted, fliting among willows and dogwood of the Oxbow. Highlights were nest building of Belted Kingfisher and dozens of emerging Swallowtail butterflies on the mud flats of McGee Meadow.
