FAS Membership Benefits

Thinking about joining Flathead Audubon as a member? Here are a few reasons to join our flock!

Flathead Audubon Society is a local non-profit organization dedicated to educating the young, the old, and everyone in between about our natural world with a focus on birds and their habitat. We do this through our free monthly meetings through the fall, winter, and spring as well as countless field trips, and programs put on my our Conservation Educator, Denny Olson.

In addition to our education efforts, we are also involved in conservation from maintaining natural areas like our own Owen-Sowerwine Natural Area to partnering with other organizations such as Flathead Land Trust for the West Valley Viewing Area to advocating by writing letters.

Your membership helps make all of this happen. When combined with all of the volunteer hours in our organization, we really accomplish a lot for a small organization!

We’ve also begun partnering with local businesses to get discounts and special deals for FAS members. To date we have the following:

Swing by Murdochs south of Kalispell on Hwy 93 and show them your Flathead Audubon membership card when purchasing any bird seed (and suet packs) to get a 10% discount. (Discount can not be applied to items on sale.)
