Our February meeting featured Doug Bonham who has a long history of creating tracking and monitoring devices for animals from owls to tree kangaroos. At our online meeting in February, he gave a wonderful history of tracking technologies as well as his new project that he’s very excited about, bird nest box instrumentation. This recent technology gives us an incredible insight into breeding behaviors and brood success. The data that can be obtained and the ability to engage citizen scientists makes this frontier extremely exciting.
Thank you again for your wonderful presentation Doug!
