At our October 2021 meeting, Mark Ruby shared methods and results of an ongoing forest carnivore study happening in the Swan, Clearwater, and Blackfoot Valleys. Bait stations and a lot of winter tracking have led to some interesting results of monitoring specifically Canada Lynx, Wolverine, and Fishers.
Mark tells a great story and showed some fascinating footage from game cameras they have installed near the bait stations.
